DESCRIPTION:The Troop will be staying at Boonesboro for the week of June 25-July 1\, 2023 (Week 1 of the summer camp sessions).   Barb Messaros (BLMessaros@gmail.com) will be coordinating the Troop’s week at Horseshoe.  As always\, please get in touch if you have any questions. \nIf you would like your son to go to camp\, please do the following: \n\nPay deposit and fill out registration form (Form & Online Payment Below) by March 18. Pay Deposit Online Here\nGet your son’s medical forms together (A\, B1\, and B2 are due now anyway\, and C is due by June 1).\n\nPayment –  Fee for the week is $625 per Scout ($545 if paid in full by 4/15/2022).  A $100 deposit is due by March 18. Pay Deposit Online Here \nCampership –  Need–based financial assistance to help pay for Summer Camp is available through Council and the Troop.   The Chester Co. Council’s 2023 Campership application will be completed online via the new summer camp portal.  Your application is kept confidential and will be reviewed only by specific individuals at Council who are involved in the process.  Applicants can apply for up to 50% of the camp fee.  Additional assistance is available from the troop directly. \n\n

The results are a ton of fun and all the scouts get to both learn and practice their cooking skills. The scouts need to get creative to incorporate the mystery ingredient into their menu and they utilize the skills of budgeting\, planning\, and teamwork to name a few. DESCRIPTION:PANCAKE BREAKFAST SUNDAY May 7th!\n\n\nWe are having our annual Pancake Breakfast along with West Chester Friends Meeting to celebrate them being our Charter Organization for another year. Troop 6 has been chartered by the West Chester Society of Friends since the late 1920s. West Chester Friends supplies Troop 6 with excellent facilities\, including use of the Friends School’s gymnasium and meeting rooms and storage space for the Troop’s camping equipment. \n\nThe breakfast will start at 9:00am this Sunday 5/7 in the Social Room of the Meetinghouse\, there will be members of the Meeting joining us. Several of the boys will tell us of their activities and the service to our community that the Troop has done over this last year. It is also a great time to get to meet the people who take the pride to Charter the Troop each year for the last 90 or so years. \n\nIf you are able to\, please join us for this important\, fun and delicious experience.
