The key elements are then taught with a clear focus on HOW TO. The skills come alive during the week as the patrol goes on a Quest for the Meaning of Leadership. \nNYLT is a six-day course offered over two weekends each spring. Content is delivered in a troop and patrol outdoor setting with an emphasis on immediate application of learning in a fun environment. Interconnecting concepts and work processes are introduced early\, built upon\, and aided by the use of memory aids\, which allows participants to understand and employ the leadership skills much faster. \nIn order to attend a NYLT course\, a youth must have the following qualifications by the beginning of the course: \n\nMust be a registered member of a Scouting unit.\nMust have a current BSA Health and Medical Record form parts A\, B\, and C.\nAs of March 1\, 2019\, Scouts BSA members (male and female) must be at least 13 and be First Class Rank or higher. This is a great trip for parents to attend and judge the cooking competition as well. \nCost is $45/scout* \n*Troop 6 does not want the cost of activities to prevent anyone from attending. The kitchen\, renovated in 2007\,  has a 4 burner gas stove and large griddle with a cooking/food prep area\, refrigerator\, hot water\, and a two-bay stainless steel sink. The bunkroom is a split-level and has a wood burning stove. Inside bathroom. No showers. Campfire circle located out back.

MORE THAN [1\,000+] SCOUTS & LEADERS CAMP AT ECB IN THE WOODED CAMPSITES\, FIELD SITES AND CABINS. ELK VOLUNTEERS FEED THE SCOUTS ALL WEEKEND LONG WITH THE HIGHLIGHT BEING THE TAILGATE PARTY AT – NAVYFEST – AT NAVY-MARINE CORP MEMORIAL STADIUM WHILE ATTENDING THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME WITH THE NAVY MIDSHIPMEN. THE SCOUTS TOUR THE USNA GROUNDS ON SATURDAY MORNING BEFORE GOING TO THE STADIUM FOR NAVYFEST & THE FOOTBALL GAME. THE BRIGADE OF MIDSHIPMEN MARCH FROM THE ACADEMY GROUNDS TO THE STADIUM THROUGH THE STREETS OF ANNAPOLIS\, MD. AND INTO THE MAIN GATE OF NAVY-MARINE CORP MEMORIAL STADIUM PASSING BY NAVYFEST WHILE ALL ARE TAILGATING. \nCost – $110/per Scout or Adult (please fill out the online permission slip and purchase tickets online below ) \n\n  \n
